DIY Wormery

A DIY wormery is one of the easiest ways to do your part in helping the planet and your pocketbook. If you make a DIY wormery, you don't have to spend hardly a dime. You can simply use the waxed cardboard boxes that grocery stores receive their produce and meat in. You can ask the clerk, or look out behind the store for the boxes by their dumpster. If you are a newspaper recycler, you will need to shred a few. The only other items you will need are a drill, or a nail to puncher air holes in the cardboard boxes. A little soil, some water and your worms, red worms and tiger worms are the best for composting. The last thing you need for your DIY wormery is kitchen scraps basically a vegetarian diet for your worms.
