For use both indoors and out, the Gusanito Worm Farm Green Garden Composter wormery allows users to raise worms which eat the family’s leftover food scraps and leave behind castings that can be used in gardens and potted plants to improve the soil.
The worms eat the food in one tray and move up to the next tray when the first is empty, leaving behind the castings. The tray can then be removed without worrying about accidently dumping out the worms. The trays are stackable to hold the desired amount of worms. Three, four, and five tray units can be created.
The Gusanito Worm Farm has a ventilated roof system for air flow and measures sixteen by sixteen by fourteen inches and weighs 13 pounds.
It can hold between 10,000 and 20,000 worms which will produce one tray of castings per month. The entire wormery is made from high-quality recycled plastic and comes with a 5 year warranty.
